LumiFem works on sore and painful nipples.

A common reason for weaning a baby too early is painfully sore or cracked nipples. If not treated in time, the mammary glands could develop chronic inflammation (known as mastitis). The German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) warns that “sore nipples represent a heightened risk of infection and often lead to mastitis”.

Mastitis can usually only be treated with antibiotics. That carries the risk of the antibiotics entering the breast milk, placing increased stress on the infant.

LED auf Brust neuStrengthening the cells through light.

The cells of sore nipples often have an energy deficiency, making them susceptible to infection. They require an input of energy for regeneration. In LumiFem light therapy, a light-emitting diode releases the required energy in the form of red light directly at the site of inflammation.

This stimulates cell metabolism and also allows damaged tissue to be removed more easily and new, healthy tissue to form more quickly.

A light emitting diode (LED) emits red light directly onto the damaged tissue.

A natural treatment method.

LumiFem light therapy offers an alternative treatment method for sore and cracked nipples, which is painless and free of side effects. It is easy and comfortable to use everywhere, either at the first sign of a problem or as a preventive measure.

Breastfeeding is healthy.

It is scientifically proven that breastfeeding brings a series of health benefits for both mother and child.

If newborns are fed solely from the breast for the first six months of life, it reduces their risk of developing problems later in life such as allergies, high blood pressure, cancer, diabetes, and obesity.

In addition to deepening the bond between mother and child, the breastfeeding
mother reduces her risk of breast cancer and attains her original body weight
more easily.
